Ketamine Therapy and Psychedelics in Community
Nikki and Camila are well aware that groups and community elicit discomfort in most people. But they also know that community is where the deepest healing happens, always. OUR HOUSE helps ketamine therapy group participants build a trusted environment with each other without losing sight of individual goals and intentions. Psychedelic groups are NOT group therapy.
In regular talk group therapy, clients are exposed to people’s mistrust and projections. This microcosm represents and mirrors how participants experience themselves with others in the macrocosm of everyday life, to help them get more clarity on their struggles and trauma beliefs. Talk group therapy are not supportive group formats, that is not their role.
Psychedelic group environments are supportive groups. That is their role or job; to help clients feel the best in and from others and regain trust in relationships. Psychedelics connect us to who we really are, underneath our fears and pain. When we are met with this kind of authenticity, compassion and support, we experience a level of healing that we can’t find in most areas of life and that many of us have not experienced in their childhoods.
OUR HOUSE psychedelic group programs are built on a key therapeutic premise: What gets hurt in relationship must heal in relationship. Sadly, most of our pain comes from relationships, therefore ketamine group therapy has very strong healing potential fro most people.
OUR HOUSE is a place to find community, to heal with others and to find ongoing community support in monthly community integration circles. No medicine session is offered without this surrounding support. Research shows that psychedelics have positive mental health benefits, when paired with support, preparation and integration.
