Legal Psilocybin Therapy, Preparation & Integration at OUR HOUSE

If you're looking for legal psilocybin therapy near Boulder, OUR HOUSE offers professionally facilitated psilocybin therapy just a short drive away at a licensed Colorado Healing Center. Co-founded by Nikki Fall, LCSW and Camila Pastor, LCSW, licensed psychotherapists, trauma experts, and Colorado Natural Medicine Clinical Facilitators, OUR HOUSE combines evidence-based psychotherapy, nervous system regulation, psychoanalysis, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic practices, and community-based integration to help people create meaningful, lasting change. OUR HOUSE psilocybin programs have extended formats with therapy-backed expertise for psychedelic preparation that can help with conditions and trauma that most retreat centers are not equipped to hold safely.

Whether you're seeking support for depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, stress or burnout, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, our approach is designed to help you reconnect with your innate capacity for healing, resilience, and compassion.

Why People from Boulder Choose Psilocybin Therapy

Boulder has long been a place where science, mindfulness, and a love of nature meet. It's home to researchers, entrepreneurs, therapists, educators, students, and people who value lifelong learning and personal growth.

Many people who come to OUR HOUSE have already explored meditation, yoga, traditional psychotherapy, and other healing practices. They aren't necessarily looking for another treatment—they're looking for a different way of understanding themselves or how all these approaches can integrate and work together for a cohesive, clear journey towards more calm and joy. Because in truth, all these approaches are connected and have something to teach us.

Psilocybin therapy offers an opportunity to step outside familiar patterns of thinking and reconnect with deeper parts of yourself. It allows us to rapidly access states of calm and clarity that meditators find after years or decades of practice. It helps us feel the truth in our hearts of what we try to understand in our heads in talk therapy. It can promote deep relaxation in the body, releasing decades of stored trauma energy that we seek to release in yoga. Having experienced other healing modalities is helpful context for our growth work with mushrooms.

Research suggests that, when used in a safe and professionally supported setting, psilocybin may help increase psychological flexibility, reduce rigid patterns of rumination, and support lasting emotional healing - and so much more.

More Than a Psilocybin Journey

At OUR HOUSE, healing is about much more than the medicine itself. The psychedelic experience may open the door, but preparation, the power of community, and integration are what help turn the experience into more powerful change.

OUR HOUSE programs are built around three essential phases:

  • Preparation – building emotional safety, workshopping intentions, developing better nervous system regulation, and beginning to access journey material with deep, OUR HOUSE guided meditation and reflection processes and exercises. Your journey will begin with preparation.

  • The Psilocybin Experience – two professionally guided dosing session at a licensed Colorado Healing Center, with a small client:facilitator ratio and additional support staff, including a registered nurse.

  • Integration – growing insights into transformation. Learn how to remember your true self in everyday life through psychedelic integration insights, somatic practices, reflective exercises, and community support.

This comprehensive approach helps participants grow the benefits of their experiences and integrate them into their relationships, self-reflection, work, and daily lives.

Why Group Psilocybin Therapy

Because healing happens in relationship to others. If we heal by ourselves, as we often try in yoga, meditation or talk therapy, we secretly continue endorsing that others are not safe. And that keeps us from healing fully.

Shared psychedelic experiences create a profound sense of belonging and reduce the isolation that often accompanies depression, anxiety, or trauma.

Psilocybin in community allows clients to be experienced without judgment and criticism, which creates the needed trust to open yourself to feeling deeply, to daring to trust, to more psychological safety for exploration... Being compassionately witnessed is what psychedelic groups provide, a healing experience clients can only wish for — groups are the secret healer, it is not just the beautiful mushroom medicine itself.

Conditions Commonly Supported

People seek psilocybin therapy for many different reasons, including:

Every participant completes a comprehensive, Colorado-approved screening process to determine whether psilocybin therapy is appropriate and safe for their individual circumstances.

Preparation: Creating Safety Before the Journey

Preparation is the key to journeying deeply, safely and with a clear aim or a goal we want to achieve.

During several weeks of preparation, participants learn how to:

  • regulate the nervous system

  • understand protective patterns through Internal Family Systems (IFS) or psychoanalysis

  • cultivate self-compassion

  • develop somatic awareness

  • workshop intentions

  • build trust in themselves, the group and the therapeutic process

Integration: Closing the psychedelic gap to transformation

A meaningful psychedelic experience does not automatically create lasting transformation. The brain naturally returns to familiar patterns due to its ‘negativity bias’, unless new experiences are intentionally reinforced. Neurosciences tells us that positive experiences wash through us, we are not designed to hold on to them. At OUR HOUSE, Camila and Nikki helps clients understand how to hold on to positive experiences, how to grow and transform, rather than allowing them to get washed away over time. Psychedelic experts Camila and Nikki long realized this gap in psychedelic therapy, integration helps bridge that gap between experience and transformation.

At OUR HOUSE, integration may include:

  • individual support

  • group integration circles as part of the program and beyond with donation-based, monthly community circles

  • mindfulness practices

  • somatic exercises

  • expressive arts

  • journaling

  • nature-based reflections

  • practical therapy tools for bringing insights into everyday relationships and routines

Our goal is not simply to help people have a profound experience—it is to help them build a more connected, resilient, and fulfilling life afterward.

Why OUR HOUSE?

OUR HOUSE was founded on Nikki and Camila’s medicine experiences - psychedelic healing should never be reduced to the medicine alone. Research confirms that psychedelic outcomes are determined by therapy, preparation and integration. Healing is a process.

OUR HOUSE integrates:

  • Psychedelic-assisted therapy

  • Psychoanalysis

  • Attachment theory

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)

  • Somatic psychotherapy

  • EMDR-informed trauma treatment

  • Nervous system regulation

  • Ecopsychology

  • Community-based healing

  • Evidence-informed integration

We believe that lasting transformation happens when insight is supported by relationship, embodiment, and continued practice.
